Rune Master

Overview

Rune Master is a fun and educational puzzle game for all ages about the Aztec & Mayan culture. In order to play the game, you must pay tribute to the Gods to begin. You are given an Idol of Templo Mayor. Use this idol to pay tribute to the God of Templo Mayor and unlock the game board. Compete with other players to earn the Gods favor and the Gods will reward you. The Gods have crafted a game called Rune Master, every 10 seconds the Master Tile changes. Find as many Master Tiles as you can before the Master Tile changes. Click on the right tiles and the Gods will reward you but click on the wrong ones and the Gods will punish you. Use the ancient runes given to you by the Gods to craft new and more powerful idols. Pay tribute to the Gods, unlock all the game boards and become the Rune Master.

Game Play

Every ten seconds the Gods will generate a new Master Tile. The Master Tile is displayed in the bottom center of the screen. Click on the Master Tiles as quickly as you can, and the Gods will reward you with random gifts. If you have pleased your God, on the bottom left of the screen a message will display in text with your reward. Remember, others are competing as well to please the Gods. The fastest time wins the ultimate prize and blessing from the Gods. Your time is displayed to the left of the Master Tile. Your score is displayed to the right of the Master Tile. The best time and score wins the Gods blessing and ultimate prize. Race the clock to become the Rune Master.

Crafting

Rune Master introduces the White Box Gaming Universal Crafting System. This allows you to craft Runes that can be used in current and future White Box Gaming products/games. Runes can also be used to craft other items such as Idols and special items. In Rune Master, you need to craft different Idols in order to unlock new game boards and pay tribute to the Gods. You also will need to obtain recipes to craft new runes, idols and special items. Recipes can be purchased from the White Box Gaming Store or collected as a “item drop” during game play. You will also need the required crafting skill level to craft most runes and items. Additionally, you will need the resources required to craft new items. Once you have crafted a new item, you will see your experience increase on the screen. Your crafting skill experience and level is universal. Meaning if you log into another White Box Gaming product/game, your skill will have increased their as well and potentially unlocked new recipes.

Inventory

Rune Master also introduces players to the White Box Gaming Universal Inventory System. All items found or crafted are stored in the Universal storage system. You can access these items from any White Box gaming product/game that uses them. In Rune Master, runes are a core item and very valuable for all White Box Gaming products/games. However, if you consume the item from your inventory in one game, you consume it from your inventory for all games.    

Achievements

There are 20 different achievements to complete in Rune Master. Each achievement offers great rewards. Some rewards also offer you an opportunity to earn WBG Coins for free by just playing the game. Some achievements grant you new titles you can proudly display in chat. Some titles can only be awarded and not purchased. Complete all 7 game boards on hard difficulty and you will earn the title “The Rune Master”.

High Scores

High Scores are based on score and the fastest time. Only the top 5 scores will be displayed based on level difficulty and game board. There are a total 105 top score slots available to be displayed. The odds are in your favor but be fast or someone might beat your best.
